Come out of that dreary, moldy classroom and come out and play. Bring your pail and shovel and let’s create your own“magic castle”.

You have to leave your “shoulds” and “don’ts” in the classroom because these are heavy “backpacks” that weigh you down and wear you out. You want ALL your awesome, “imaginal” innocence working for you in the
Cosmic Sand Box. You will want to soar above the usual and mundane, so let go and “lighten your load”!

What, you may ask, is a “Cosmic Sand Box”. Well, the best way to describe it is that it is a mystical place of metaphor and symbol. Whatever you can imagine is real in the Sand Box. Remember when you believed in fairies and dragons and animals that talked? Life was sure fun then. That was the “sand box” era of your life.

What if now as a “big person” you could go back into all those fantastic stories and live them? The good news is….you can! Because the Cosmic Sand Box is magical and when you lay your backpack down your eyes open! That’s right!! You can SEE. The stories come to LIFE, and you begin to FEEL your Soul stirring within you. It’s waking up and shouting “YES!”

Feel the ENERGY of that “YES!” It is your power source and it has been asleep like “Sleeping Beauty”. The poison apple you ate was the lie that the stories weren’t real and you weren’t a Princess/Prince. (In “Sand Box Land” Male or Female is interchangeable) But now the Prince/Princess has come to awaken you with the kiss of AWARENESS of who you really are.

See??? Isn’t this fun? Don’t you just LOVE IT? Waking up can be just as much fun as getting kissed by the handsome Prince/Princess….may be better. I promise!

Note of Caution:
For those of you who are a little fearful of having too much fun or getting lost in the play of it, you can relax. Know that your backpacks are close by and you can pick them up whenever you like.

However, you’ll notice that after playing in the Sand Box for awhile the backpacks feel much heavier than before. You may find that they eventually weigh more than you do!  Most likely you will just leave them back in the classroom altogether. Backpacks are symbolic of backbreaking negative thoughts and beliefs we’ve been saddled with all our lives. They are filled with fear, self-loathing, guilt, shame, hurt and rage….Yuk!

Shall we begin our Cosmic journey of awakening to who we are and where we really live? Great!!!! Grab your pail and shovel (or sax) and let’s go!
